Jason Wigley, M.D.
Founder and President
Raised in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Wigley was first exposed to Europe when he was in the U.S. Navy. He was stationed at a naval hospital in Naples, Italy where he lived for two years. During that time he found his future wife and through her family has become ingrained in Italian and European life.
After the Navy, Dr. Wigley returned to his home in Detroit and completed his undergraduate degree in Italian studies at the University of Michigan and earned his Medical Degree at Michigan State University. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami in Miami, Florida. He currently serves as Associate Program Director of the Anesthesiology Residency Program at Mt. Sinai Medical Center.
Throughout his time in Miami he learned that many foreign medical students and physicians attempting to match in the U.S. were having difficulty. He recognized a need for guidance to become a competitive candidate. Dr. Wigley then turned his attention to Italy and Europe and realized that a disproportionate few were matching in the U.S.
For this reason, he has focused on being an advocate, counselor and mentor for European medical students and physicians that want to come to the United States. He is confident that everyone that genuinely desires to practice in the U.S. can succeed. Dr. Wigley looks forward to getting to know each client personally and will be intimately involved in every aspect of the application process.
